How do I purchase tickets to DerbyFEST?
Via https://derbyfest2020.eventbookings.com/ Tickets will only be available at the festival gate if they haven’t sold out, your best bet is to grab a ticket and not risk it.
Where can I stay?
There is a huge range of accommodation options available in Derby and the surrounding communities. Jump online to book anything from a cabin in the forest to a modern apartment overlooking the river. The festival also has limited camping sites available – until sold out.
Is camping included in my festival ticket?
Camping is not included in your festival ticket. You will need to purchase a separate camping pass.
My friend is using my ticket – do I have to change the name?
Tickets are unnamed but the person using the ticket will need to carry ID to prove they are 18+ (if using an adult ticket)
Are there pass outs?
You will be given a wristband upon arrival, and this wristband will allow you to enter and exit the festival, and pass between the main arena and the campground as much as you like. Please ensure your wristband remains on your wrist throughout the duration of the event, as you will not be permitted into the festival without it.
Where is the camping and can I choose my campsite?
Sites are pre-purchased but not pre-allocated. There will be two camping areas designated for the festival.Derby Park – SOLD OUT – Riverside camping on the western edge of town. Derby Park has a range of (unpowered) sites available with toilets, showers (coin operated) a playground, and BBQ facilities. It is located approximately 900m from the festival hub.Derby Cricket Ground – Previously self-contained campers only but due to high demand we have opened up additional space at the Cricket Ground as an overflow.This camping area will have toilets but no other facilities. It is located approximately 500m from the festival hub.A $30 camping pass will get you 1 site for the entire weekend (Friday and Saturday nights).
Will there be an ATM?
There is no ATM’s available in Derby. Most vendors will have EFTPOS facilities but it is advised that you bring cash. Scottsdale and St Helens are closest ATM’s. Branxholm IGA allows cash out with purchase.
Where can I buy food?
There will be food stalls located in the festival hub (check out the Vendor Details Listing for details) plus there is a selection of eateries within Derby which will have an array of tasty food from wood-fired pizza to old fashioned pub grub to tempt your tastebuds.For general groceries stock up at Branxholm IGA, Scottsdale Woolworths or St Helens IGA’s if travelling from the east coast. There are also a small range of essentials at the Derby General Store on Main Street.
