Stay at Derby Park – Your base for adventure

Nestled beside the river in the heart of historic Derby, Derby Park offers a relaxed, central spot to unwind between adventures. With easy access to our world-class Blue Derby mountain bike trails, scenic hikes, local fishing spots, cafés and restaurants, it’s the perfect place to pitch and explore.

Facilities include clean public toilets, showers, drinking water, and gas BBQs. Camping is free of charge, but if you’d like to support the ongoing care of the trail network, we encourage a contribution of $25 per site, per night. Payments can be made at the machine by the amenities block or through the Strada Mobile App. No bookings necessary—just roll in and enjoy.

Camp at Derby Trailhead – Right in the action

Located just steps from the Blue Derby mountain bike trails, pump track, and the scenic suspension bridge to Briseis Mine Hole, the Derby Trailhead area is a convenient spot for overnight camping. It’s ideal for riders and adventurers looking to stay close to the action.

Facilities include toilets, showers and fresh drinking water. While camping here is free, a voluntary contribution of $40 per site, per night is encouraged to help support ongoing trail maintenance and improvements. You can make a payment via the Strada Mobile App. No bookings are needed—just show up and settle in!

Free camping at Branxholm Centenary Park

Enjoy free camping at Branxholm Centenary Park with the option of powered sites perfectly positioned at the start of the Valley Ponds trail—a scenic connector trail linking Branxholm and Derby. Whether you're walking or riding, this beautiful route takes you through our lush forest. Don’t miss the chance to explore both towns while soaking in the natural beauty along the way!
