SATURDAY OCTOBER 17
PARK TO PUB FUN RUN
Sponsored by Dorset Hotel
9:00am – 11:00am
8km Fun Run / Walk
Start the weekend with the Park to Pub Fun Run — an 8km community run or walk along one of the most picturesque trails in Derby, finishing at the pub.
The finish line will quite literally be through the front doors of the Dorset Hotel, where every participant will be welcomed with FREE Finish Line Flirt Spritz.
Ticket includes a return shuttle to the rec after presentations.

BILLYCART DERBY
12:30pm – 2:30pm
Bring the whole family for an afternoon of gravity-fuelled fun as competitors race their homemade billycarts through the streets of Derby.

MTB DIRECT Air Ya Garn Airflow

The MTB Direct Air Ya Garn Airflow Race is a flat-out test of speed, skill and nerve. It’s simple: one hill, one run, one chance to lay down your fastest time.
With $3,000 in prize money up for grabs, there’s plenty on the line across categories for riders of all ages.

Kick back and enjoy an afternoon into evening of live music at the Derby Pump Track.

Think you’ve got what it takes to be the fastest rider down one of Derby’s most iconic trails?
The MTB Direct Air Ya Garn Airflow Race is a flat-out test of speed, skill and nerve. It’s simple: one hill, one run, one chance to lay down your fastest time.
Riders will take on the legendary Air Ya Garn trail, sending it from top to bottom in a race against the clock. No second chances, no best-of-three — just one run to give it absolutely everything you’ve got.
Whether you’re chasing the cash, bragging rights, or simply keen to test yourself against the clock, this is your chance to line up and see how you stack up.
With $3,000 in prize money up for grabs, there’s plenty on the line across categories for riders of all ages.

TAS GRAVITY ENDURO IS COMING TO DERBYFEST!
Ready to give enduro racing a go? Or just keen to ride some trails, have a bit of fun and see what it’s all about?
Tas Gravity Enduro is bringing an inclusive, action-packed three to five stage enduro to DerbyFest — with something for everyone, from first-timers to seasoned racers.
3-5 stages | Around 2-3 hours | All ages & abilities
The course will feature a mix of Blue to singlelack trails depending on your category, designed to be challenging enough to be exciting, but accessible enough for riders who are new to enduro racing.
SATURDAY | PRACTICE DAY
Get familiar with the course and learn the ropes with a dedicated ‘How to Enduro’ session, plus a women’s-specific practice session for anyone keen to build confidence, ask questions and have a spin with other female riders.
And the best part? There’s absolutely no obligation to race! Come along, try the format, meet some other riders and enjoy the trails.
SUNDAY | RACE DAY
Racers will tackle three to five stages depending on your category, with one shuttle to the start, followed by pedalling between the remaining stages.
There’ll also be a Come & Try non-competitive category, making it the perfect opportunity to give enduro a crack without the pressure of racing the clock.
Whether you’re chasing the podium, trying enduro for the first time or simply looking for a fun weekend on two wheels this is for you.

Derby River Duck Race - Derby Park
After a wildly popular debut at Blue Derby’s 10 Year Anniversary, the Derby River Duck Race is waddling back to town!
Hundreds of ducks will take to the Ringarooma River for the race of a lifetime — and this year, there’s even more reason to get your duck in the game.
For just $5, you can purchase your very own racing duck and go into the draw for some seriously quacking cash prizes!
Race start: Behind the Dorset Hotel
Finish: Just beyond the suspension bridge
1st place: $500
2nd place: $200
3rd place: $100
Buy one duck, buy ten — the race will be live streamed so you can win anywhere in the world. All money will be donated to the Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails.
It’s silly. It’s competitive. It’s a whole lot of fun.
