Derby Trails
Steep, rocky, fast and technical and offering panoramic views of the town.
Named for the giant painted rock, Trouty is one Blue Derby's most challenging trails. Rated Very Difficult for good reason - it is steep, rocky, fast and technical and includes a huge rock slab that can be seen from the main street. Trouty offers panoramic views over the town, that’s if you’re game enough to raise your eyes off the trail.
Used in the Enduro World Series, the rock gardens were famous for wreaking havoc on bikes and bodies. Trouty starts on Krushka’s and offers an alternative exit from the network, directly onto the Tasman Highway.
